AboutAbout The Team | About The Car | About The AVO Ginetta Championship
Most tracks have a maximum grid of 32 cars. As there are so many Ginetta race entrants, the weekend must be split into a number of heats. Qualifying usually takes place on the Saturday morning. The top 8
fastest cars from qualifying go into heat A on Sunday morning.
1st place = 30 points 7th place = 14 points 13th place = 6 points 1 Point is also awarded to the driver who obtains pole position and to the driver with the fastest lap in the race. The race weekend structure may change when fewer than 32 cars are present or if the grid accommodates more cars. In these cases there will be a practice and a qualify on the Saturday, followed by the championship race and an optional non-championship race in the Sunday. |
