WTRacing is a relatively young team on the racing circuit, with its first active season being in 2005. It was wholly founded by driver Will Thomas, with the support of his close friends and family.

Initially, the team just included Will himself as the main driver, and his partner Natalie Love as the team's ‘secretary’ and website developer. Later, Will's good friend John Guest joined the team as serving mechanic, prompted by technical problems which developed during the first race weekend of the season (Donington Park, 2nd April 2005). John's wife Jennie and daughters Katrina and Kirsty have also provided valuable support throughout the season, both on and off track!

The website itself was somewhat neglected during the season of 2005, during which we were busy competing in the AVO Ginetta Championship and racing at various UK tracks supporting F3 and GT races (and which included TV coverage on 'National Motorsport 2005', Sky Sports 3 and extra, as well as coverage in Motorsport News), but its redesign and subsequent relaunch followed on the back of our joining with WheelsNThings.com as our official racing sponsor.

The future of the team is now looking good. Will said "Without the help of John Guest and family we wouldn't be here now. Hopefully with Jason Ferguson [Chairman] of WheelsNThings on our side, the team can grow and chances of success will increase". Over the coming years the team will work on gaining further racing experience, in order to grow and develop; venturing into other sectors of the racing industry.
